Graduate Admissions

The Caldwell College Educational Opportunity Fund program (EOF) helps provide access to higher education for those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. At the graduate level, EOF assists low-income New Jersey residents who are capable and motivated but lack adequate financial resources for college study. The EOF program provides supplemental financial aid to help cover college costs and provides support services to smooth the path to a graduate degree. Grants amounts are usually $1375 per semester.

My Question:

While forty-one of New Jersey's community colleges and public and private four-year colleges and universities participate in the EOF Program, the actual number of available spaces at each college or university is very limited. To participate in an EOF program, graduate students must be New Jersey residents who apply to a New Jersey college or university and file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Graduate students must be enrolled full time (9 credits, though in some cases 8 may be considered full time).

New Jersey EOF program grants are generally available to students from families whose annual income falls within the income scale established by the State of New Jersey. Please visit the official state website for the N. J. Equal Opportunity Fund for further details on this scale.

Graduate students interested in applying to the Caldwell College EOF program may contact the EOF Office at (973) 618-3245, or use the form to the right, for specific requirements and information.
