3 Nine undergraduate credits in behavioral science are required prior to student teaching. A transcript review during the admission process will determine the extent to which an applicant has satisfied this requirement. Required courses include one Sociology course with approved multicultural content and two Psychology courses equivalent to the following: for elementary certification, Child Psychology plus Prenatal/Infant Psychology; for secondary certification, Adolescent Psychology plus Child Psychology.

4 Certification is required only for the concentrations in ABA and Learning Disabilities.

5 Also requires a master’s degree or matriculation in M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction or M.A. in Educational Administration.

7 The Praxis exam is not needed for admittance to the program, but is required for NJ certification. Students are advised to take this exam during the first semester in the program.

8 Accounting I and II, Management, Economics I and II, Marketing, Statistics.

9 GMAT formula score of 1,000 or above (200 x GPA + GMAT score); GMAT may be waived for applicants with a minimum of eight years approved business experience.

10 Accounting I and II, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Cost Accounting (or an acceptable advanced accounting course), Economics I and II, Management, Marketing, Statistics.

11 General Psychology, Theories of Personality, Abnormal Psychology (Psychopathology), Statistics, and Experimental Psychology; MA with Art Therapy specialization and Post-Master’s Art Therapy also require Developmental Psychology, an additional 18 credits in studio art (including at least one course in Drawing, Painting, and Three Dimensional Work), and a portfolio of 10-12 pieces, slides or digital copies.
