Post-Master’s LDT-C Certification
This program is designed to meet the New Jersey Department of Education requirements for a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C) certification for applicants who have a master’s degree and general education teaching certification. Students will develop skills to diagnose learning disabilities and plan instructional programs for students with learning problems. Upon successful completion of the required curriculum and documented three years of teaching experience, the candidate is eligible for the New Jersey certificate as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C).
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Verification of an appropriate earned master’s degree through official transcripts, copy of general education teaching certificate and documented three years teaching experience.

ED 568 Remedial Strategies in Learning Disabilities (3)
ED 614 Practicum in LDT-C I (minimum of 45 hours supervised field experience) (3)

NOTE: Supervisor’s Certification requires three years of successful teaching experience or its equivalent in New Jersey schools under an appropriate teaching or support service certificate.
