At Caldwell College, we realize that choosing a lender for student borrowing can be a time consuming and confusing process. To assist you in the process, our Office of Financial Aid compiles a list of lenders for you to consider that we are confident will provide you with efficient, dependable service. You may select a lender from our list or any other lender you desire, ultimately the choice of lender is up to you.
To keep you aware of the process we employ when deciding on lenders to recommend, among many of our considerations are the following:
- Borrower Benefits - What borrower benefits are offered to our students
and their families, are they automatic or behavioral benefits, and the
number of borrowers that might qualify for these benefits.
- Customer Service – How have our borrowers been treated by lenders,
what is the overall student satisfaction level, and what is the overall
staff satisfaction level.
- Debt management – What types of debt management programs are
available to our borrowers, what types of results has the lender experienced
and what is their commitment to financial literacy.
- Technology – Does the lender provide web services for our borrowers and what online services are available.
Our list is reviewed annually and changes are made based on these considerations. Borrower benefits for lenders we have recommended are available, on our website within the webpage for each loan, for your review.
