Caldwell, N.J., Nov. 12, 2015- Caldwell University’s Accounting Degree Program has been ranked among the Top 10 Undergraduate Accounting Programs for the state of New Jersey by Accounting Degree Review.

“We are delighted to learn of our ranking among the Top 10 accounting programs in New Jersey,” said Professor Bernard O’Rourke, associate dean of the Business Division at Caldwell.
Caldwell offers a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a combined B.S. /M.S. in accounting.

“This recognition speaks to the strength of our accounting program. Over the years many of our students have achieved at a superiorlevel in the CPA exam and also demonstrated their abilities by advancing to quality jobs in the world of accounting.”

He noted that because faculty serve in leadership positions at the NJ Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, the department is able to keep in close touch with professional activities and trends

O’Rourke said Caldwell has been selected as one of the few schools nation-wide whose students were invited to participate in a recent field test of the proposed new Uniform CPA Examination. “Our accounting faculty are all active practitioners with extensive experience and this, together with our strong push for internships, greatly benefits our students,” said O’Rourke.

Accounting Degree Review says the creation of their top 10 list of best undergraduate accounting programs in New Jersey was formulated by reviewing how each school ranked in websites and publications like BYUBloomberg BusinessUS News and World ReportLinkedInForbes, Princeton ReviewTaxTalent, and College Factual. They also say that programmatic accreditation of the schools was a factor.
