Art Therapy Department’s Annette Vaccaro is Guest on Life and Living With Joanna Gagis

Annette Vaccaro, LCSW, ATR-BC, Caldwell art therapy instructor and clinical coordinator for the graduate counseling degree with art therapy specialization, is a guest on Life Living with Joanna Gagis on Sat. May 24th at 2 p.m. on NJTV.  Professor Vaccaro describes art therapy and its role in healing and counseling, the various fields that a graduate of the art therapy program is qualified to work in, and the different field placements that Caldwell graduate students have taken part in including a project where they worked with families impacted by Superstorm Sandy.   Pictured:  Vaccaro (right) on the set with Gagis.

Bob Mann, chair and professor in the Communication Arts Department, is hosting a new weekly public affairs talk show on WFDU-FM called of Mutual Concern. Mann interviews Dr. Walter Cmielewski, professor of education at Caldwell University, on Sunday June 1 at 7 a.m.on the new common core standards in New York and New Jersey.
