For generations of immigrants, the Lower East Side wasn’t just a place to find a cheap home. It was also where they learned how to start a business, build a congregation, educate their children, and lobby the government. Join fellow Caldwell University alumni in a walking tour of this fascinating neighborhood and find out why it is such an ever-changing mix of the old and the new.

Cost for the event is $14 per person and includes walking tour only.  This walking tour does not go into buildings; the anticipated tour time is two hours. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.

To RSVP, please send an email to alumni@caldwell.edu; please indicate the names of the participants, as well as their ages.  Please mail your check in the amount of $14 per participant to Caldwell University; Alumni Walking Tour Event; Office of Development and Alumni Affairs; 120 Bloomfield Avenue; Caldwell, NJ  07006.  To pay by credit card, please call 973.618.3352 for further details.
