THREE COUGARS RECEIVE CACC WOMEN'S HOOPS HONORS

Caldwell College senior forward Mackenzie Lynch (Wayne, NJ/DePaul Catholic) was one of three Cougar women's basketball players honored as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced its year-end awards today. Lynch was named to the all-CACC second team, sophomore guard Kirsty Leedham (Ellesmere Port, England/Cheshire Acad.) made the third team, and freshman guard Kaitlyn Lambert (Cumberland, RI/Cumberland) was chosen the CACC Rookie of the Year.

CALDWELL ENDS SEASON WITH LOSS TO BLOOMFIELD IN CACC TOURNEY

The Caldwell College women's basketball team was eliminated from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament with a first-round loss to Bloomfield College, 61-50 Tuesday night in the Bloomfield Gymnasium. The Cougars end their season with a record of 10-18, while the Lady Deacons (14-14) advance to Friday's semifinal in Philadelphia, Penn.

A driving lay-up by Stephanie Agger with 2.4 seconds to play allowed Philadelphia University to defeat the Caldwell College women's basketball team, 80-78 in the final regular-season game for both teams Friday night in the George R. Newman Center. The loss drops the Cougars to 10-17 overall and 8-9 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, while the Rams improve to 18-9, 13-5 CACC and clinch the second seed in the South Division.

COUGARS END SKID WITH 67-53 TRIUMPH OVER DOMINICAN

The Caldwell College women's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Dominican College by the score of 67-53 Tuesday night in the George R. Newman Center. The win clinches third place in the CACC North Division for the Cougars, who are now 10-16 overall and 8-8 in league play. The Chargers, who already wrapped up first in the CACC North, fall to 16-11, 13-4 CACC.

The Caldwell College women's basketball team lost to Wilmington University, 84-70 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game Saturday afternoon at the Pratt Center. The result extends the Cougars' losing streak to four and drops their record to 9-16 overall, including a 7-8 mark in the conference. The Wildcats improve to 16-10, 11-6 CACC.

The result extends the Cougars' losing streak to three games and drops their record to 9-15, including 7-7 in conference play. The Lady Deacons improve to 13-11, 10-5 CACC. Senior forward Mackenzie Lynch (Wayne, NJ/DePaul Catholic) registered 21 points and 11 rebounds to pace Caldwell.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference is the latest organization to honor Caldwell College sophomore guard Kirsty Leedham (Ellesmere Port, England/Cheshire Acad.) with its Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week award, the ECAC announced today. Leedham earned Player of the Week accolades from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association on Monday for scoring a total of 92 points over three games last week.

Leedham, who was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week earlier today, averaged 30.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.3 assists over three games last week.

Newman Center. The win gives the Cougars an 8-11 overall record on the season, including a 6-3 mark in conference play. Post remains winless in the CACC with an 0-10 record (3-17 overall).
