Matt King, winner of the 2000 Great American Jazz Piano Competition, brings his exciting jazz quartet featuring Caldwell College professor Rob Middleton on reeds, Dave Richards on bass, and Pete MacDonald, drums. The program will include King’s eclectic original music, works by jazz masters such as Thelonious Monk, and standards from the Great American Songbook. Balancing artistry with accessibility, this world-class ensemble will please both dedicated jazz fans and the uninitiated as well.
