It's up to you. Students may take up to fifteen credits during the spring and fall semesters and up to twelve credits during the summer semester. Combining accelerated on-campus semesters with External Degree courses could also expedite obtaining your degree.
Caldwell College will accept a maximum of sixty credits from a two-year institution and up to seventy-five credits from a four-year accredited institution or a combination of both.
As a new student, registration can be done when you meet with your advisor during the mandatory initial interview. During subsequent semesters, registration can be done in person or via fax, mail, or E-mail. Unless you are registering late (i.e., approximately two weeks prior to the beginning of classes), payment is not due upon registration; rather, you will be billed. If you are a non-matriculating, visiting student, a Personal Data Sheet must be completed before you can register for a course.
During the spring and fall semesters, students have the option of paying their tuition in three installments. The appropriate paperwork for this option is sent with your bill. Additionally, nearly all students qualify for some type of Financial Aid; call (973) 618-3222 for more information.
Yes. Students who live in another state or country may conduct their mandatory initial interview over the telephone and are only required to attend the New Student Orientation and the External Degree Saturday during their first semester. During subsequent semesters, students may contact their professors via phone the Monday after External Degree Saturday to request that course materials be mailed. Students with this situation should also call the Caldwell College bookstore at least one week prior to the beginning of the semester to make arrangements for books to be mailed to them. |
