The decision to transfer from one college to another can be a difficult choice to make. Here at Caldwell, we want to make the transfer process a simple and smooth transition. Students applying to Caldwell College from a two-year or four-year institution need to submit the following to the College:
- a completed application
- official college(s) transcript(s)
- One letter of recommendation
- Essay - In a 500 words or less, if you could solve one world problem, explain the problem and the creative solutions you would use to solve the problem or name your favorite literary work and explain why it is so memorable.
- students with less than 30 credits must also include official high school transcript with SAT or ACT scores.
In order to help you through this process, we will review your complete file in a quick and efficient manor. Qualified candidates will receive an acceptance decision within 2 weeks of having submitted your complete file.
If acceptance to the college is offered, the student's transcript(s) is reviewed by our Office of Academic Affairs. Shortly after receiving an acceptance decision, you will receive notice of the credits that have been accepted into the Caldwell College curriculum. Additionally, we will notify you of any Academic Scholarships that you may qualify for.
No
credit will be given for any course in which a grade lower than a C has
been received. Credit will be allowed only for courses appropriate to
the curriculum chosen at Caldwell. A minimum of 45 credits and one-half
of the course work in the selected major must be completed at Caldwell
College.
