About Our Office:

The Mission of the Office of International Student Services is to advance Caldwell College’s commitment to a holistic education by providing immigration expertise and services to the international community at Caldwell. The OISS advises international students on compliance with immigration laws and regulations, provides support to international students in cultural and social adjustment, and assists student, administrative, and academic groups in their initiatives to nurture and grow international programs.

We are every international student’s first contact for assistance on-campus, and serve as your advocate in all academic and legal affairs while in the US. From the moment you decide to apply to Caldwell, OISS will be with you every step of the way. Once you are accepted as a Caldwell student, you will also gain access to our great online portal with all the important information you’ll need to get the most out of your four years as an international student at Caldwell.

About our College & Students:

Caldwell College is a small, Catholic, Liberal Arts College offering a wide array of degrees in the Arts, Sciences, and Professional fields. Many of our programs have achieved elite accreditation within the United States, and the school was recently named a Great College for the Liberal Arts by Wintergreen Orchard House in “The College Finder”. Caldwell College is situated just 22 miles from New York City, with convenient public transportation that gets you to Midtown Manhattan in just 45 minutes.

Caldwell hosts between 75 and 100 international students each year from more than 25 countries around the world. Over 85% of our international students go on to participate in Optional Practical Training, working for some of the World’s biggest and most famous companies. Undergraduates have significant scholarship opportunities including Presidential scholarships which cover almost all of student tuition. Attending a small college also provides students with a unique chance to get to know their professors on a one-on-one basis with our small 13:1 student-teacher ratio.
