HI/PO 492 – Research Seminar (Outcomes Assessment). Will be offered every Fall and Spring both on-campus and externally. This course will not be offered during the summer. Please note that this course must be taken at the same time as one of the designated senior seminars.
Note for External Degree students: Normal department practice is to offer courses both on campus and externally according to the schedule on the back of this sheet. However in some cases courses are not offered on-campus and externally in the same semester (for example if a course is offered in the evening it is sometimes not offered externally as well). If you take only External Degree courses you should be in regular contact with the Department Chair about your scheduling needs so that we can be sure that courses you need to graduate will be offered externally.
Summer scheduling: Normal department practice is to offer the following courses in the summer:
On-campus: Hi 101 & 102 Western Heritage I and II, Hi 250 The Vietnam War
External Degree: Hi 101-102 Western Heritage I and II, Hi 203-204 Growth of the American Nation I and II, Po 225 American Government, 1 history course for Social Studies majors
The schedule for all other departmental courses is listed on the bottom of this page and the back of this sheet. Scheduling for certain courses required for Social Studies majors is done by other departments--contact the Sociology Department for scheduling information concerning Cultural Anthropology, and contact the Business Department for scheduling information concerning Survey of Economics.
