Dr. Mary Ann Miller received her B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of Dallas in Irving, TX, and her Ph.D. in English Literature with a concentration on British Victorian poetry from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. She currently teaches most frequently Masterpieces of Western Literature, Literature of the Victorian Age, Catholic Writers, Introduction to Poetry, and Literary Types and Themes.
Special interests include promoting work of contemporary local poets by offering her students in the Introduction to Poetry course the option of participating in service-learning projects with these poets. Interdisciplinary interests focus on the intersection of theology and philosophy with literature.
