Dr. Joanne Jasmine
Dr. Joanne Jasmine is a former middle school language arts teacher. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Education where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Caldwell College. She also supervises student teachers in the field. Dr. Jasmine is a graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University where she earned her Ed.D. in Education Administration. Dr. Lynne Kalustian
Dr. Kalustian had a long career in the public school system in administration and classroom teaching, working Kindergarten through Grade 12. Dr. Kalustian worked as an adjunct at Kean College and C.U.N.Y. and here at Caldwell College. Presently, she teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses at Caldwell College.
Dr. Kalustian works as a trainer and consultant for an educational consulting company in N.Y.C. called “Ventures.” Her work involves curriculum development and giving “demos” and teacher workshops. She is a “board member” for Partners in Education, in Jersey City where they work to raise money to help children receive a strong parochial education. Sister Mary John Kearney, OP
Sr. Mary John is an Associate Professor of Education. Her various roles as a leadership person in education have included teacher, principal, Chair of the Education Department, Director of Field Experiences and Certification Officer, and Moderator of student organizations which support the development of teachers. Currently, Sister teaches courses in Instructional Design I and II and Reading/Language Arts. Within these course designs, the integration of technology as a tool for teaching and learning is emphasized. Students are required to demonstrate knowledge and skill in planning lessons and units, employing various modes of media.
Sister Mary John is currently utilizing Power Point, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Sites, and various software packages that extend the student's interests and abilities to integrate technology within their lesson planning. While she still considers herself a student of media, her experience may be of assistance to persons who are interested in sharing comments, questions, or experiences. Dr. John McIntyre
Dr. McIntyre has over thirty years experience as a teacher and school administrator including Superintendent of Schools and nine years of graduate and undergraduate teaching. Dr. McIntyre coordinates the graduate program in Educational Administration and Supervision here at Caldwell College.
