STATEMENT OF OUTCOMES ASSESSMENT

In view of the changing business environment our students will face upon graduation and in keeping with the mission and values for which Caldwell College stands, the Business Program intends that our students will graduate with a firm grasp of business principles and practices in eight essential business subjects: Accounting, Economics, Finance, International Business, Legal and Social Environment of Business, Marketing, Management, and Quantitative Business Analysis. Students will be proficient in oral presentations, written communication and information technology skills. They will also be able to address real-world business problems with ethical sensitivity and well-developed critical thinking and problem solving skills. Several different methodologies will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and the success of the student, including the Educational Testing Service’s Major Field Test in Business, student portfolio development culminating in a senior portfolio review, pre- and post-testing, the successful completion of the Business program capstone course: Kapusinski Ethical Business Strategy and other assessment measures adopted from time to time upon review and analysis of actual student learning outcomes.
