STUDY
ABROAD PROGRAM
Study Abroad opportunities are coordinated through the Office of the Assistant Dean. Well-qualified students are encouraged to study abroad during their junior year or during the summer if such study is advantageous. Students desiring to do so should plan their program with their departmental advisor and present it in writing for approval to the Assistant Dean for Student Academic Affairs. All programs and coursework must be approved at least one semester prior to enrolling at another institution. Credits and grades for all study abroad programs will be transferred and included in the GPA. Caldwell College maintains an exchange program with Duksung Women’s University and Catholic University in South Korea. Additional programs are also available.
SHORT TERM TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
Caldwell College offers short term travel experiences to a wide range of locations throughout the world. Students are accompanied by Faculty members who both design and present courses in a variety of academic disciplines. Undergraduate students have the opportunity to gain a practical understanding of the culture and customs of the country while immersing themselves in the course material. Short term travel opportunities are normally taken during winter or summer session and are usually one to three weeks in duration. Students must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and are limited to six credits or two short travel experiences. These courses may not be taken as an audit.
