Betsy Mackenzie-Stubbs, Mezzo-soprano, holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Pedagogy/Performance, with Distinction, from Westminster Choir College, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Applied Voice from Westminster College. Ms. Mackenzie-Stubbs teaches on the voice faculties of Caldwell University, and Kean University, and maintains a private voice studio. She is a former faculty member at Drew University, The Westminster Conservatory of Music, and The New Jersey Workshop for the Arts. Ms. Stubbs is also certified to teach music in the public schools and was former music teacher for grades 1-6 at Redeemer Lutheran School. Ms. Stubbs is an active performer and has been heard as soloist with various oratorio groups and has been heard singing operatic roles with the Pineda Lyric Opera, and The Trenton Civic Opera. She currently sings as a soloist and is in the ensemble of Schola Cantorum on Hudson and is a long-standing member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
