National Inspirer
Level – Grades 4-12
This scavenger hunt program offers students to the opportunity to travel around the United States. Students learn to interpret maps, and learn about the diverse resources, geography, and characteristics of a specific area. 

The American Indian
Level – Grades 6-12
This program covers over 1000 years of history and includes historical texts and photos from the National Archives, and video of songs and customs.  

Mapmaker’s Toolkit
Level – Grades 4-12
This program offers an easy way to select, customize, and print world, continent, country, and state maps. Maps can be customized with built-in layers, drawing tools, and hundreds of map symbols.

A Fieldtrip to the Rain Forest (Voyage of the Mimi II)
Level – Grades 2-10
Students visit a Central American rainforest to learn more about its plants and animals. Program includes a useful information management tool. 

Maps and Navigation (Voyage of the Mimi I)
Level – Grades 4-8
Program provides exciting simulations where students use science and mathematics tools to locate treasure, avoid hurricanes, and rescue whales. Students identify locations with a variety of tools including latitude and longitude, radio direction finder, compass rose, distance scale, and radar. Includes a student’s guide.  

 

Ancient Empires

Level – Grades 5-10 
Part of the Decisions, Decisions series. Students role-play a decision maker faced with a critical situation drawn right from your history or contemporary issues curriculum. The experiences of many ancient civilizations such as Greece, Egypt, and Mesopotamia come alive.

Colonization
Level – Grades 5-10
Part of the Decisions, Decisions series. Students role-play a decision maker faced with a critical situation drawn right from your history or contemporary issues curriculum. The issues presented match those faced by the colonizers of America. Students learn the history of the colonization of America and apply it to a future dilemma.

Immigration
Level – Grades 5-10
Part of the Decisions, Decisions series. Students role-play a decision maker faced with a critical situation drawn right from your history or contemporary issues curriculum. Facing a recurring dilemma, students learn to apply the lessons of the history of U.S. immigration policy.

The Constitution 
Level – Grades 5-10 
Part of the Decisions, Decisions series. Students role-play a decision maker faced with a critical situation drawn right from your history or contemporary issues curriculum. Students weigh the pros and cons of the Articles of Confederation and decide where they want power to reside – within the states or the national government. They also come to understand the importance of the separation and balance of power.
