Thank you for taking the time
to examine Caldwell College. We take great pride in our many academic
and athletic programs and our student activities. Once again, we were
ranked among the top 25 for best comprehensive colleges in the North by
U.S. News and World Report! Work is underway on a new apartment style
residence hall to meet the demands of increased enrollment.
As our mission statement says, “In pursuit of truth and life-long learning, Caldwell College fosters a sense of responsibility to this and future generations”. We take that charge seriously. Our quality Catholic higher education is rooted in the 800-year-old mission of St. Dominic, and the Dominican order, a worldwide community of preachers, scholars and educators. Our mission includes our commitment to helping our students grow in all aspects of their lives—spiritually, aesthetically and intellectually.
We want Caldwell College students, upon graduation, to be prepared to use their gifts and talents to help make the world a better place for themselves and for the lives of others. We want to give them the necessary tools to succeed. We want to heighten their interest, vision and imagination to discover their own world of possibilities.
Our students see a world of possibilities emerge through the opportunities they experience at Caldwell College. The College offers caring, personal attention, excellence in teaching and innovative learning environments through the use of new technology. Our student/faculty ratio is 12:1. We regularly develop new programs that keep pace with the workforce needs of today and tomorrow. With great enthusiasm we are on track in pursuing the strategic objectives included in our planning document, “Caldwell College 2010: Excellence in Action.”
Visit us! Our beautiful, 70-acre campus located in suburban Caldwell, NJ, just 20 miles west of New York City continues to grow and expand.
