Locating Assessment Resources & Tests

REFERENCE RESOURCES

The ETS Test Collection and Tests in Microfiche

The ETS Test Collection is an extensive library of approximately 20,000 tests and other measurement devices, established to provide information and access to tests and assessment materials. The ETS Test Collection Catalog includes information on hard-to-locate research instruments as well as on commercially available, standardized tests. Tests in the collection may be located in the microfiche set, Tests in Microfiche, in ERIC, in journal articles, or may be obtained directly from the publisher depending on the specific test.

Jennings Library has a complete collection of Tests in Microfiche, which is a subset of The ETS Test Collection. Tests in Microfiche is located in the Microforms Room at the back of the Reference Room. There are two recommended methods to identify and locate specific tests in the Tests in Microfiche set.

Volume 1: Achievement Tests and Measurement Devices
Volume 2: Vocational Tests and Measurement Devices
Volume 3: Tests for Special Populations
Volume 4: Cognitive Aptitude and Intelligence Tests
Volume 5: Attitude Tests
Volume 6: Affective Measures and Personality Tests

This is a great place to browse for tests. Note that the tests included predate the copyright of the specific volume and the volumes have not been updated.
