Methods of Payment

Cash, Personal Check, Bank Check or Money Order

  • In-person payments in the form of Cash, check or money order can be made at the Office of Student Accounts in the Administration Building, Room 106 from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.
    (If you choose to pay in person after business hours, you may drop your payment through the mail slot on the door of the Office of Student Accounts.)
  • Mail-In payments: Check or money order should be made out to Caldwell College and mailed to :
    Office of Student Accounts, Caldwell College, 120 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006
    Please write the student ID Number on the front of the check. DO NOT MAIL CASH

Credit Card Payment

Caldwell College has partnered with Tuition Management Systems (TMS) to provide credit card services, as well as electronic check and savings account payment alternatives (see below). A convenience fee will be charged to the cardholder at the time of payment based on a tiered scale from 2-3%. If you process your payment by credit card, you will be advised as to the convenience fee amount. You may access TMS by phone at 1-800-722-4867, or by the web (see web payment instructions below).

Electronic Debit of Checking or Savings Account

TMS also provides electronic debiting of your checking or savings account. When the transaction is approved, the payee's account will be electronically debited. A flat fee of $5.00 per transaction will be assessed. TMS can be accessed by phone by calling1-800-722-4867, or through the web by following the Web Payment Instructions below.

Method 1: For Current Students
• Go to Registration, Course Search and Billing
• Login your ID Number and Password
• Choose the "My Profile" Tab
• Select the "My Account" Tab
• To pay with a credit card or electronic check, click the "Click here to pay online" tab. This will bring you directly to the TMS website. Follow the prompts to "Pay In Full".

Method 2
Log on directly to the TMS website at www.afford.com

On the TMS Homepage, Choose "Student and Family Login", then choose the "Pay In Full" Tab.

Click "Click Here to Pay In Full", then Enter the school year, find your state and Find your school. Click either "Click Here to Pay with your credit card", or Click Here to Pay with Your Checking or Savings". Read the Agreement, and Follow the Prompts.

Payment Plan Information

Traditional Undergraduate Students

Caldwell College works with Tuition Management Systems to offer an Interest-Free Monthly Payment Option. Once you have determined your out-of-pocket budget for the year, you may enroll directly with TMS to spread this amount into 10 equal payments. Once you enroll, you will receive a bill each month from Tuition Management Systems and you will be responsible for paying them directly. You may enroll on the web at www.afford.com, or by calling 1-800-356-8329, or you may call the Office of Student Accounts to request an enrollment form.
Payments run from May 20th to February 20th.

Adult Undergraduate Students and Graduate Students

Caldwell College works with Tuition Management Systems to offer a three-payment plan for both Fall and Spring semesters at a cost of $40 per semester. Upon registration, you will receive a billing packet from the Office of Student Accounts which will contain the application for the three-payment option. You must complete the enrollment form and mail with your payments directly to Tuition Management Systems.
