Residence Halls
The residence halls are administered by the Director and Assistant Director of Residence Life with the support of the Residence Hall Building Manager, Resident Director Assistants and student Resident Assistants. The Residents' Council assists the Director and Assistant Director by offering students an opportunity to share in governing and planning activities for residents.
On-campus residence is available for students in Mother Joseph Residence Hall, Rosary Hall and Dominican Hall.
The Mother Joseph Residence Hall (MJRH) houses approximately one-third of the full-time student body. Most of the rooms are double or triple occupancy; a limited number of single rooms are available. Each wing has a kitchenette outfitted with a stove, a microwave oven, and refrigerator. On the lower level of MJRH is a large lounge with a small stage for entertainment, a large-screen television, video games, pool tables, game tables and vending machines for soft drinks and snacks. A fully equipped laundry room located in the Mother Joseph Residence Hall is available for residents use.
Rosary Hall is located on two floors in the Administration Building. The students choosing to live on these floors have chosen to live in a courteous/quiet environment. Each floor has a full kitchen and comfortable lounge. Many rooms are singles. The residence hall rooms are equipped with cable television service, telephone service and voicemail, and data ports for high speed internet access. Laundry facilities are located on each of the residence hall floors.
Dominican Hall, the newest residence hall on campus, is comprised of 50 suites that house 4 students each over four floors. There are three different suite configurations; apartments with single rooms and full kitchen, apartments with single rooms and half kitchen and apartments with double rooms. Each suite has a furnished common area with a dining set, sofa, chair and television stand. Every floor has a lounge with a plasma television and three of the floors also have a laundry facility. The residence hall rooms are equipped with cable television service, telephone service and voicemail, and data ports for high speed internet access.
In order to make long-distance calls in the residence halls, students will need to utilize a calling card. All residence hall rooms are equipped with cable television service, telephone service and voicemail, and data ports for high speed internet access.
All residents participate in the campus food plan which provides three meals each class day, an opportunity to purchase a la carte options through Flex Dollars and brunch and dinner on weekends and holidays. All meals are available for students in the Student Center.
