Vice Chair of State Education Committee to Speak at Caldwell College

The Caldwell College Education Honor Society Chapter of Kappa Delta Epsilon will host a lecture with New Jersey State Senator M. Teresa Ruiz on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Senator Ruiz will speak on "What One Needs to Know About Education in New Jersey Today." Senator Ruiz is Vice Chair of the State Education Committee.

The presentation will take place in the Alumni Theater at 7:00 p.m.

Senator Ruiz is currently serving in her first term in the New Jersey State Senate, representing the 29th Legislative District of Hillside and Newark. She is also the first Latina to serve in the State Senate.
