The New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Ministries (NJCIM) honored Dr. Sharon Reeve (Applied Behavior Analysis Department) and Casi Healey (MA in ABA student) with Religious Lay Leader awards for their work on inclusion for people with disabilities into faith communities. The NJCIM, which is an interfaith organization that is committed to supporting faith communities to fully include all people with disabilities or special needs as valuable members, held its 9th Statewide Awards Dinner in Hamilton Square New Jersey on Thursday, November 4, 2010. "I feel very privileged to have been given an opportunity to help children with autism share in faith-based services with their families," said Sharon. "I've also been touched by how many of our ABA graduate students, like Casi, have taken up this wonderful cause!" In recent years, the NJCIM has also honored ABA graduate students Jessica Rothschild and Mark Mautone for their work, as well as Dr. Mary Beth Walsh, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Theology.
