Caldwell College Enrollment Management Team Walks for Autism Awareness

The Enrollment Management Cluster at Caldwell College took part in the 2008 Autism Speaks: Walk Now for Autism on June 1. A campus-wide Denim Day event was held May 16 to give staff and faculty the chance to pledge support for the walkers. The Caldwell team raised a grand total of $1460.00 to help raise awareness about Autism. "As a team, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all who supported us by donating and spreading the word," said Joseph Posillico, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Caldwell College.

Caldwell College is the only college in the state of New Jersey with a master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, (ABA) a highly effective treatment for Autism. ABA is a well developed field of study among the helping and education professions. Caldwell also offers a Post-Baccalaureate program in ABA. There is a growing need for professionals trained in ABA for early intervention programs, self-contained programs, and public school districts.
