Caldwell Sweeps Research Poster Competition at Autism NJ Conference

Caldwell, NJ – October 20, 2011 - The Caldwell College Applied Behavior Analysis Department and the Division of Education swept all three research awards for the poster competition at the annual conference of Autism New Jersey.
Awards were presented for:
"Teaching leisure skills with an iPod touch© activity schedule" by ABA doctoral student Kelly Carlile; Sharon A. Reeve, Ph.D., BCBA-D, executive director of the Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis, Ruth M. DeBar, assistant professor, applied behavior analysis, and Kenneth Reeve, Ph.D., BCBA-D, director of research, Center for Autism & Applied Behavior Analysis.
"Effects of parent training on the acquisition of parent skills for children with autism" by ABA doctoral student Lori Bechner, Dr. Sharon A. Reeve and Tyrone Bentley, M.D., medical director of the Autism Center at the New Jersey Medical School at UMDNJ.
"The Effects of Video Feedback on the Conversational Skills of Included Middle School Students Diagnosed with Autism," by Tracy Reilly Lawson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, assistant professor of education, and Frank Ammirata, a teacher for the New York City Department of Education.
