Professional
Educators' Enrichment Program Conducted at Caldwell College
Caldwell College is pleased to announce a professional development program for teachers to be conducted in affiliation with The Academy for Teaching and Leadership beginning in the fall 2007 semester. Caldwell is partnering with the Academy to offer graduate courses designed to develop teachers’ knowledge and skills and have them apply this learning in their classrooms.
Each semester’s program features three weekend seminars followed by application in the classroom. The fall semester course focuses on designing and delivering effective instruction; in the spring, the program addresses how the brain learns and ways to differentiate instruction for students.
Courses are taught by nationally recognized presenters Dr. Patricia Lawrence in the fall and Dr. Carol O’Connor and Pamela Ramsden in the spring. Interested teachers may contact the Office of Graduate Studies at 973-618-3408 or graduate@caldwell.edu.
The Professional Educators' Enrichment Program provides a high quality experience for educators designed to help them enhance their instruction and improve student achievement. The program enables educators to assume leadership roles in creating the future of their schools and their school districts.
Program participants receive three (3) graduate credits each semester for participation in the seminars and conducting professional development presentations with colleagues in their school settings.
