1 Test is waived for students who have a completed master's degree at an accredited institution; are transitioning from an approved Caldwell College post-baccalaureate program; or are enrolled in a combined (bachelor's-master's) degree program.

4 Only for the concentration in Teaching Certification. New Jersey requires nine undergraduate credits in behavioral science prior to student teaching: Psychology, either Prenatal and Infant Psychology (elementary certificate) or Adolescent Psychology (secondary certificate); and one Sociology course (sociology of either poverty, racial and cultural groups, education, gender, contemporary social problems, or urban issues).
5 Certification is required only for the concentration in Learning Disabilities.

13 General Psychology, Theories of Personality, Abnormal Psychology (Psychopathology), Statistics, and Experimental Psychology; M.A. with Art Therapy Specialization and Post-Master's Art Therapy also require Developmental Psychology, an additional 18 credits in studio art (including at least one course in Drawing, Painting, and Three Dimensional Work), and a portfolio of 10-12 pieces, slides or digital copies.
14 Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (e.g., Speech Pathology, SocialWork) and have earned BCBA certification (or be eligible for BCBA certification).
15 Prerequisite business courses are required only for the Accounting Certificate: Intermediate Accounting I & II, and one additional upper level accounting course.
