- Talk with students in different majors and professors from a variety
of academic departments, your TSD Advisor, and a career counselor.
- Interview several people that are in careers of special interest to you.
(What do they do? Why do they like/dislike their work? What type of
academic preparation and work experience was helpful to them?)
- Choose a course that may open up new academic fields to explore.
- Consider volunteering some of your time in an area of interest.
- Visit the Career Planning and Development Office for assistance and resources related to choosing a major.
Take a pro-active role in this important choice.
