The Peggy Harris Alumna/us of the Year Award
Nominations are now being taken for the Peggy Harris Alumna/us of the Year Award. The Award has been given each year since 1964 to an alumna/us for outstanding service to the Alumni Association as a Board or Committee member or in another volunteer capacity. Any alumna/us can make a written nomination of another alumna/us by stating the qualifications of the candidate and submitting the letter to the Alumna/us of the Year Nominations Committee. This committee will met in early spring to consider nominations and make a decision.
The Peggy Harris Alumna/us of the Year Award is presented by the President of the College at the Alumni Homecoming each year and the citation is prepared and read by the previous year’s recipient.
Please give some thought to a worthy alumna/us who deserves to be recognized for their efforts on behalf of the Alumni Association and take a moment to write your recommendation. The Family Legacy Award
The Family Legacy Award was first presented at Homecoming in 2006. The award is presented to a family with one or more alumni who have given dedication and service to the College over several generations. Please give some thought to a worthy family who deserves to be recognized for their efforts on behalf of the Alumni Association and take a moment to write your recommendation. Nominations may also be made on our online form.
Veritas Awards Nominations
Nominations are now requested for the Veritas Awards, which will be presented at a testimonial dinner in March.
The Veritas Awards, established in honor of the Dominican Sisters who founded and administer the College, celebrate the professional excellence of alumni and are presented on the first Friday after Founder's Day.
To be eligible, a nominee must be a Caldwell graduate of integrity, who has achieved success in her/his chosen profession, has given of self to others, and is identified as a leader by associates and the community.
