
ADULT UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMStudents can enter the Center for Graduate & Continuing Studies with some previous college experience or none at all. Students normally are more than three or four years out of high school with significant family or career responsibilities, but regardless of your circumstances, we’ll work with you to find the right program! The Center for Graduate & Continuing Studies provides you with the opportunity to study full-time or part-time predominantly in the evenings, and on weekends or through our distance learning program although day classes also are available for those who are able or prefer to attend during the day. Here at Caldwell, we want to make the transfer process a simple and smooth transition. TAX CREDITThe Hope Credit is a tax credit of up to $1,500 for students in the first two years of higher education taking off at least one-half of the normal full-time course load. The Lifetime Learning Credit of up to $1,000 is available for all students taking one or more courses. Visit www.irs.ustreas.gov for detailed information. COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP*Graduates of community colleges with an A.A. degree and a GPA of 2.75 or higher are eligible to receive a 15% tuition scholarship. PHI THETA KAPPA SCHOLARSHIPThese scholarships are awarded to both full-time and part-time transfer students from community colleges who have earned the PTK distinction. FINANCIAL AIDFederal and state grant, loan and work-study, as well as Caldwell financial aid is available to those that qualify. MILITARYActive military veterans, National Guard or Reserves are welcomed at Caldwell College. Caldwell College participates in the ConAP and SOC programs. |
